Tameka Raymond, if you’ll recall, had quite a traumatic 2012.

While she lost primary custody of her two youngest sons with singer Usher, the saddest thing that could happen to a parent occurred: she had to bury her son. Kile Glover, who was only 11 years old, was killed when a man, allegedly a friend of the family, lost control of his jet ski and ran into an inner tube that Glover and another young friend were sitting on.

Well, in what some are considering shocking news, TMZ has learned that 38 year old Jeffrey Simon Hubbard has been arrested for the accident.  He was indicted on Thursday by a grand jury and is charged with Homicide by Vessel, Serious Injury by Vessel and Reckless Operation of a Vessel.

Hubbard is currently being held in a Hall County, Georgia jail without bail.  He will see a judge at some point this weekend to see if he can be released on bail.

It will be interesting to see what evidence led to this arrest seven months later because by all initial reports by the police, Hubbard was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time.  It, sadly, seemed like a tragic and unfortunate incident.

There has been no comment at this time from Tameka or her ex-husband and Kile’s father, Ryan Glover.

After almost two weeks of holding out hope that he would become responsive after a jet skiing accident, Tameka Raymond and Ryan Glover decided to remove their son Kile Glover off life support early Saturday morning, according to AJC.com.  He was 11 years old.

Kile and an unidentified young lady were sitting on a water tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta when a jet ski being powered by Jeffrey Hubbard ran into them.  According to reports, they were all part of the same group enjoying the outing. There are no indications from police that Hubbard was under the influence of any type of drugs or alcohol at the time. He’s not been charged with any crime.

After word about the accident got out, an outpouring of well wishes, positive thoughts and prayers were extended to Kile, the Foster (Tameka’s maiden name) and Glover families as well as to Usher who was married to Tameka for two years and also shares two sons.  Tameka has tweeted twice since the accident: a July 14th message simply saying, “#Pray4Kile” and tweeting a picture on Friday of Kile and younger brother Usher IV. Today, many are sending their condolences out to the family.  Kile’s older brother Ryan posted a picture of Kile as a toddler with a message that read:

“R.I.P.  lil brother. Kile I love you soo much and I wish I was the one in Heaven instead of you.  From now on, everything I do is for you. ily man.” Note: ily = I love you

Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home told AJC.com that funeral arrangements were pending but declined to give any other information.

Many of us can only imagine what it is like to have to bury our own child, especially one so young, so we extend our condolences, thoughts and prayers to all the family and friends of Kile Glover, especially his parents and siblings.

Tameka Raymond’s 11-year-old son Kyle Glover has taken an unfortunate turn for the worse after he was involved in a jet skiing accident Friday afternoon. After being air lifted from Lake Lanier to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, Kyle was said to be in critical condition, but as of yesterday afternoon the young boy has reportedly been declared brain dead.

According to TMZ’s sources, Kyle has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital three days ago. There has reportedly been no decision yet as to whether or not to take him off life support and Radar Online claims to have spoken with Tameka about her son’s condition, to which she simply responded:

“He’s Bad.”

Both Kyle and a 15-year-old girl were injured in Friday’s accident when a man who appears to have been apart of their group at the lake struck them with his personal watercraft while they were inner-tubing, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Kyle was unresponsive when he was pulled out of the water but the girl was treated for minor injuries, including a cut to the head and a broken arm.

Though alcohol is not thought to have played a part in the incident, Robin Hill, a representative for the Department of Natural Resources in Atlanta said the department’s Critical Incident Response Team will recreate the accident with computer programs to help determine what happened, including how fast the boats were going at the time of the accident. Once the department completes its investigation, they will send their recommendation over to the district attorney who would then decide whether or not to file charges against the driver.

So far, neither the boy’s father,Ryan Glover, nor his former step-father, Usher, have commented on the situation although Usher is said to have chartered a plane for Tameka to be by her son’s side following the accident. A slew of celebrities have sent their well wishes to the family, including Lala Anthony, Russell Simmons, and Monica. We definitely want to extend ours as well at this difficult time.

Tameka Raymond’s 11 year old son, Kile Glover, was in a terrible jet skiing accident on Friday afternoon at Lake Lanier in Atlanta, leaving him in critical condition according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Kile and a teenaged friend were on an inner tube on a lake when a jet ski being operated by a 38 year old man ran into the tube, knocking Kile and the unnamed 15 year old girl into the water.  When emergency workers arrived to the scene, Kile and the young lady were immediately flown to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, according to fire chief David Kimbrell.  Apparently all three were part of the same group and while no names were officially released by on-site workers, TMZ was able to find out that it was indeed Tameka’s son.  Although the man who was operating the jet ski has yet to be named, it appears they were all part of the same group.

Kile was unresponsive when they pulled him from the water after an apparent head injury and was still unresponsive when he arrived at the hospital which rendered his condition as critical.  The young lady seems to be much better and is in the hospital under stable condition.

According to TMZ, Tameka was out of town at the time but when Usher heard about the accident he immediately chartered a plane for Tameka to get back home to be by her son’s side.  Kile is often described by Tameka on Twitter as her son with the “sweet soul” who is just caring, loving and almost her most helpful son.

Our thoughts are with the family and we hope Kile will make a full recovery.
