We’ve all been there before. You head to a fabulous new salon to perk yourself up a bit, but wind up leaving feeling worse than you did when you walked into the place. Know Your Shape: The Best Hair Cuts For Every Face
Choosing the right haircut can be hard. There’s always that risk you take that you’ll hate it and have to let it grow out over the course of a few months. No one wants that. That’s why we’ve put together this handy little guide to the best cut for every face shape:
Round
If your face is round, meaning that the length and width are the same, most cuts that are at least chin length, but ideally longer, will frame rounder face shapes well. To slenderize the face a few long, choppy layers on straight hair will definitely do the trick. A bit of wave also elongates and gives it some angle. Try a large barreled curling iron to create gentle bumps in big sections. It’s also easy to create this look heat-free. Just make 6-8 large braids with wet hair, keep in overnight and in the morning you’ll have glorious waves.
5 Short Cuts That Bring the Heat for the Summer
In summer, just like how people cut back on the amount of clothes they wear, some of us cut off some of the length we wear on our strands. Looking for a cute new cropped style to beat the summer heat? We picked out five hot short hair looks that will have you immediately hitting print and sashaying down to your stylist for an appointment.
1. The Faux Hawk

Show off those awesome cheekbones with this fun and sassy cut. Add texture and wear it flipped up (using a touch of Tancho Tique Stick to get the hair to stay put); or comb it down for the office. This cut is all about versatility.
