TV One’s longest-running original series and fan favorite, Unsung, has profiled some of the most beloved artists over the years, giving music lovers the inside scoop on their untold stories.  Shared predominantly via interviews with profiled artists and people closely associated with them, the five-time NAACP Image Award-winning docu-series never disappoints.  And Unsung fans can now devour the equally successful spinoff, Unsung Hollywood.

But have you ever asked yourself, “Why don’t they do an Unsung on ___?”  Chances are, you have.  But not every artist believes they are unsung.  Not to mention, when dealing with groups, not every member is on board with revealing information about their personal lives, let alone the drama that affected or derailed their careers.

That being said, if we had our way, we’d still like to see episodes on the following artists.  Who would you add to this Unsung wish list?

KRS-One

A true hip-hop pioneer, both as a member of Boogie Down Productions and as a solo MC, the Teacha has been spitting rhymes for decades.  And while we know KRS-One through his music, there’s a lot we have yet to learn about the man himself and his undoubtedly heady story.
