How to Tell If Your Girlfriends Are Jealous

Have you ever had that friend? Not the one who tells you like it is but the one who’s only happy so long as she is the one. You know the one to get a great promotion; the first to purchase a home; the first to get married and so on. Mostly interested in admiration from others and being delighted in themselves, seldom are they prepared to bask in the glory of someone else. Their selfishness won’t allow them to praise you for doing better. Instead, she grinds her teeth into a constipated smile while mentally rolling her eyes.

You deserve to pat yourself on the back and celebrate successes, and your girlfriends should be on the sidelines cheering every step of the way. Anyone who can’t corroborate with the group should have their membership in your circle reconsidered. Jealousy is a poison you can do better without.

Think one of your girls might be a certified hater? Here are a few characteristics associated with Jealous Friend Syndrome:

I had a best friend who I think is jealous, which is why she became so distant from me. As soon as I got into a serious relationship with my now fiance' , it seemed like things went down hill. I never did anything wrong to her, but all of a sudden, I stop getting called, she doesn't answer phone calls, her attitude is different and a host of other little things that let me know she's jealous. I moved in with my fiance, then we purchased a home and it just seemed like she was never truly happy for me, but threatened by me doing better than her. I felt like she was cool with me as long as I was not doing better than her. Even though we were practically on the same level educationally and professionally, because we worked together. Worry about yourself and live your life and never make apologies for it. Point blank, period.

I've had a few jealous girlfriends and it sickens me. I consider myself a genuine person and I only let those around me who I feel are real friends. At first both of them seemed cool so I let them in my world and shared stuff with them. but then it seemed like we were competing. I agree with Candiluv24 about the copying of style. I eats me up on the inside because I beleive everyone should be comfortable with who they are and sadly its not true. I've had copied hairstyles, clothes, hair stylist, even had one trade in her newer model car to buy the same car I had but in a different color!!! When I was in the process of buying a house, I showed one heffa the house I was considering and do you know she went to see it before I did and tried to get approved for it?!! LOL Now that's deep! Its like dang are you serious?? But needless to say I have basically stop being close friends with both of them and only socialize every now and then with them..jealousy is not good

Been there and experienced that and have been both the victim of jealousy (and the aggressor at times!)
