Iggy Azalea’s summer hit song “Fancy” helped her become a household name but the Australian rapper ended up facing some backlash after old tweets she published recently surfaced. “Is it wrong I feel happy to hear southern accents again & not Mexican ones?” she said on Twitter. “… I am.” In another tweet she said women in Los Angeles are “stick skinny,” unless they are Mexican, who “still got the box body on lock.” She also made disparaging remarks about Black, Asians and homosexuals. Azalea released a statement of apology over her remarks.
