They’re the top-selling girl group of all time is keeping the momentum of their sizzling hot career burning with their first-ever series of concerts in Australia. And with this visit comes media rounds, one of which has stirred up some major controversy.

During an interview with Australia’s Channel 7 Sunrise, T-Boz and Chili sat down to dish about their tour and careers. And when asked about celebs who might wear more revealing outfits and costumes Tionne “T-Boz Watkins had this to say, “Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked.”

She drove the point home, proclaiming, “And it’s hard for us to say anything because every time we say something [people say] ‘Oh, TLC [they] must be jealous.’” It is what it is. I call a spade a spade. We sold and became the biggest selling girl group of all time with our clothes on. That says a lot. It’s easy to sell sex.”

The interview’s narrator claimed the duo was referring to international superstar, Rihanna, especially after her barely-there dress for the CFDA awards.

Once word got back to the “Diamonds” singer, notorious for her ‘don’t come for me unless I send for you-esque’ tweets, she posted a picture and comment, thought to be directed toward TLC.

She then took it a step further changing her Twitter background image to one of TLC, before the untimely death of member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, posing with their breasts exposed, using nothing but their hands to cover up their girls.

The Internet was on watch, waiting to TLC to snap back, but the group seemed rather unbothered. T-Boz did, however, send out a Tweet saying her comments weren’t about Rihanna in particular.

Rih-Rih has since changed her Twitter background image and TLC is continuing on with their Australian tour.
