Several months ago, we told you that “Basketball Wives LA” star filed for divorce from her husband, NBA player Jannero Pargo. It’s unclear what caused the split, as the reality TV star simply cited “irreconcilable differences” in her filing, but it was revealed that the pair have been separated since 2012. In her filing, Malaysia also requested sole physical custody of their three children.
According to TMZ, a decision has been reached in regard to custody and support. Documents filed with the Los Angeles superior court reveal that Malaysia has been awarded primary physical custody of the children, while the estranged couple will share legal custody.
As far as finances go, Malaysia has been awarded $15,380 per month in child support payments and an additional $7,500 per month in spousal support. Jannero has also been ordered cough up $25,000 for Malaysia’s attorneys’ fees.
This is quite a bit of cash, but Jannero just signed a deal with the Charlotte Hornets, from which he’ll reportedly be paid a little under $1.5 million for the season. As previously reported, Malaysia and Jannero have been married since 2006 and have been separated since 2012.
As the saying goes, sometimes it’s cheaper to keep her.
