Last season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Cynthia Bailey revealed that uterine fibroids had been wreacking havoc on her body, resulting in 20-pound weight gain due to increased appetite and a decreased sex drive. After undergoing surgery to have the issue corrected, the supermodel-turned-reality-star set out on a mission to shed those extra pounds. In the latest issue of Life&Style, the 40+ beauty opened up about her weight loss journey.

“I lost more inches than actual weight. And I went from a size 10 back to a size 6!” she excitedly told the magazine.

Instead of simply counting calories, Bailey says she tried out the GenoVive Diet Plan, which is a weight loss programs that offers meal-delivery and weight loss programs tailored to an individual’s DNA. According to a saliva test performed by GenoVive, Cynthia’s body responded “best to a mix of macronutrients that was low in fat and higher in carbohydrates.”

“I got to eat pasta!” the RHoA star raved.

She now weighs 148 pounds and says she’s extremely happy to be back at a more comfortable weight.

“It’s nice to be back to my old self!”
