If you were able to catch the “Basketball Wives LA” reunion show last night, you saw that it was an absolute madhouse. But according to BBWLA vet Jackie Christie, there’s a lot more to the insanity that viewers didn’t even get to witness due to editing by VH1. As you may recall, tension between VH1 rookies Sundy Carter and Brandi Maxiell erupted into a physical altercation.

“The reunion was bananas! When I say bananas…I haven’t been in an all out riot in 20 years. I couldn’t believe it!” Jackie told Mara The Hip Hop Socialite. “They [Brandi and Sundy] jumped up, and the next thing you know, I’m taking my shoes off to run and get in the middle. Not to fight necessarily, but if need be, I’m going to grab them in a chokehold, that’s what I am going to do.”

Jackie went on to describe the altercation, which got so intense that it resulted in a riot with the audience rushing the stage.

“So when all the ruckus started happening, the audience actually ran down on to the stage – it was bizarre,” she explained. “British takes off running to the right, everybody else crashes the stage. I mean they just came from everywhere! They were running from up under bleachers; they were running everywhere. Brandi, in between all the chaos, she makes it around the group and tries to run at Sundy, but I’m protecting Sundy and the whole group of her family got around her and some of the people that I brought. You know I had a few people I invited.”

As things escalated, Jackie says that at one point, Brandi was estrained by Sundy’s boyfriend.

“I didn’t see the actual blows being thrown, but Sundy told me that she swung a shoe and hit Brandi with the shoe in her face. I don’t know because I didn’t see it, but I do know that it was straight chaos. It was a free-for-all. People were fighting, Sundy’s boyfriend grabbed Brandi up, you know, and told her ‘you’re not going to touch her.’ She was cursing at him; it was crazy. People were fighting, camera guys got hit by accident trying to film. It was an all out brawl pretty much.”

Things got so crazy, VH1 producers eventually had to escort the entire audience out of the studio.

“They made the whole audience get out and went ballistic, and was like, ‘everyone needs to leave – this is uncalled for, this is intolerable’. Shed Media, everybody, VH1, everybody was very on point in getting the audience out of there. It had become a very hostile situation pretty quickly, but I didn’t actually see any physical violence, I just seen that it was chaos. Things flying through the air and people screaming and all kinds of stuff. Yeah, it was straight chaos! I couldn’t believe it.”

Brandi also took to Twitter to confirm that Sundy’s boyfriend did, in fact, put his hands on her.
