Walmart is a strange place. And you never know what type of crazy things you’ll see, hear or experience in there. And while I’ve seen some foul things in Walmart, we’re sure, 40 year old Erika Porras was not expecting to get her toes sucked while she was shopping.

Porras said she was shopping Monday in a Lincolnton, North Carolina Walmart when 31 year old Michael Brown approached her and asked if he could help her try on shoes.

She told authorities, “He said, ‘Follow me to the shoe department.”

She thought Brown worked at Walmart and agreed to try on shoes. Brown told her he was a podiatry student.

Erika’s daughter, Katie told WCNC.com, “He said, ‘I need to take a picture for research,’ and when he did, he stuck her foot in his mouth.”

Once Brown realized she was upset, he tried to apologize, “Sorry ma’am. Please, please, please.”

He offered to pay for her groceries but she ran and called her husband and then the police.

Police arrested the man and charged him with assault on a female, a misdemeanor.

Detective Dennis Harris says he’d never seen anything like this and called the incident, “Kind of bizarre, strange.”

This is not the first time Brown has been in trouble for this type of thing. A registered sex offender, Brown was convicted in 2001 for breaking into a home and sucking on a woman’s toes and several other sexual misdemeanors.

Since the story was released the Charolotte police have received numerous reports from other people who may have been Brown’s potential victims.
