Speaking of celebrities and their legal woes, it looks like “Sleepy Hollow” actress Nicole Beharie may find herself in a legal war of her own. According to TMZ, the 29-year-old actress is in a little dispute with her stylist, Sharon Blades, who is threatening to sue her.
The way the story is being told, Sharon was hired to style Nicole for the Television Critics Association event, which occurred this past Monday. In exchange for Sharon’s services, Nicole reportedly agreed to pay her $5,000. According to Sharon, Nicole loved the items that were pulled for her to wear to the event—including the stylish little black dress (pictured above). However, when the time came to pay up, Sharon says Nicole only coughed up $2,000. Her alleged reason for forking up less than half of the agreed upon amount: She didn’t like the dress that much.
Sharon claims she has been hunting Nicole down for the rest of her payment all of last week, but her attempts were unsuccessful. Now she’s taking action. In addition to blasting the “42” actress in the press, Sharon has also hired an attorney.
Maybe there’s more to the story. Let’s just hope it’s all a misunderstanding. Nicole has yet to publicly comment on the allegations. But for what it’s worth, we think the dress is cute!
