If you watched Sunday’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, I’m sure you were just as disgusted by the behavior of former NFL star Chuck Smith as we were. Clearly vying for a spot on the show, he confronted Phaedra about the fact that she told his wife during the girls trip to Savannah that they dated (an awkward conversation that was started by Mynique). However, his tone was extremely insulting, and he basically said that she, and Kandi, were like his groupies, and just “part of the team.” Of course, word got back to Kandi about all this (next week Phaedra spills the beans to her about his comments), and according to Sister 2 Sister, she called in to Big Tigger’s V-103 show to give her two cents. Smith claimed that Kandi thought she was special to him, but she wasn’t. However, she says that if she was just a part of the “team,” Smith definitely went all out for his teammates because he was doing the most for her (including helping her pay her bills, according to a previous episode of RHOA):
“He said he was taking advantage of a young girl…he really went out of his way to take advantage. That was deep.”
I’ve moved on, but I would appreciate it if he’d stop…On one hand, he tried to make it sound like I was dating all these people, but on the other hand, he felt the need to make me feel special. Can you get your story together? Stop lying.”
I can appreciate that Burruss didn’t spaz out on that man, as she’s clearly way above him at this point in their lives (in both maturity and fame). I just think it’s sad that Smith harps on and is so fond of his days as the “big homie,” and claims that everybody wanted to get with him. That was yeeeeears ago! And now he’s been reduced to disrespecting his old friends, exes and boo-thangs for a shot on a reality show. C’mon bruh…
