Aaliyah – I Miss You
Indeed we do miss Aaliyah, but this song, not so much. The track was recorded in 2000 and was set to debut on her third album. Eerily enough, as though the song itself was a foreshadowing of what was to come, Aaliyah died in an airplane crash before it dropped. It was released posthumously after her untimely death that broke a many a fan’s heart. Her death, along with the subject of the song, made this one of the most played tracks of the early 2000s.
