Celebrities were doing the absolute most on the low this weekend. First Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose were married, and now it has come out that The-Dream and his fiancée Lydia Seung Nam welcomed a baby boy into the world over the weekend. Though reports swirled that they were expecting twins, they only had a baby boy. Let’s just hope that was inaccurate and they didn’t lose a child.
Lydia is a Korean-Canadian stylist and she’s set to tie the knot with The-Dream before summer ends. The couple were reportedly engaged soon after he found out she was pregnant, and Lydia has gone as far to change her name on social media to Lydia Seung Nash already. But before the baby was born, they were trying to keep the baby’s impending arrival a secret because of Christina Milian requesting more child support from him, and the producer not wanting to pay up.
This is the fifth child for The-Dream, aka Terius Nash, who has daughter Navy and twin sons London and Christian with singer Nivea, and daughter Violet with Christina Milian. The-Dream also impregnated Milian before marrying her, and after they finally tied the knot, he filed for divorce a few days before Milian gave birth, just five months after the wedding. When married to Nivea, she says he gave up on their relationship as well and wanted to divorce her when they were married. Here’s to hoping that this time around, he’ll do right by Nam if he does plan to marry her, and will make the best effort possible to maintain their relationship after the fact. But nonetheless, congratulations on the new baby!
