Can I first say that I’ve loved me some Robin Williams (not in THAT way) ever since Mrs. Doubtfire? Now that we’ve got that out of the way, did you know that Mrs. Doubtfire and the original Superman were besties? As the only two students of elite talents to be selected for acceptance into Julliard’s Acting School, the advanced program, Robin Williams and Christopher Reeves were often the only two people in their classes, and were also roommates and because of that, they became very close to one another. Their bond remained strong throughout their successful careers, Reeves’ unfortunate accident, and his eventual death. Williams has even helped to look after the son Reeves and his late wife, Dana Reeves, left behind, helping to take care of him and allegedly paying off the late actor’s medical bills that were left behind.
