Musician Jazmine Sullivan is back with a forthcoming album, “Love Me Back,” and airing out some dirty laundry in her music.

She is no longer lashing out to fill a void or fueling a bitter relationship. Her decision to abandon the resentment in search of emotional stability led to Sullivan’s new project.

“I was a little angry on the first album, busting windows and things,” the soul singer said. “Im not quite as angry on this one. You see a different side of relationships, the more loving side,” Sullivan said.

The 23-year-old singer who emerged with the valiant debut album, “Fearless,” garnered critical praise for the hit-singles, “Bust your windows” and “Lions, Tigers and Bears” back in 2008.

Now that the rewards have paid off, the singer has geared up for new singles, “Holding You Down (Goin in Circles) and “10 Seconds” which speak volumes in a more subdued fashion.

“The first album I was just busting windows out, but this time I’mma give you 10 seconds to get away,” Sullivan laughed.

She is planning an upcoming tour with R&B superstars Mary J. Blige and El Debarge to kick off October 2 in Atlanta.

“Love Me Back” will be released in October.
