(TheLoop21) — When I first heard that the program Nightline was devoting not just a segment, but an entire town hall discussion to the subject of why so many Black professional women are single, I thought to myself, “here we go again.” Here we go again with the media’s obsession with this topic (which has been beaten deader than any horse), and here we go again with the mainstream media displaying just how out of touch it is when it comes to addressing issues that really matter to people of color.
