Manhattan Tech Job Openings Spike
(Crain’s) — Here’s one more indicator that the nascent economic recovery may be for real: The number of job postings in Manhattan in the information technology industry jumped 18% in the first quarter of 2010, compared to the year-ago period, according to the Pace/SkillProof IT Index Report released Wednesday. The jump in job openings was at a level not seen since the second quarter of 2008, the report said.
