(New York Daily News) — Rockaway residents got their first glimpse of a new city plan on Tuesday that promises to expand access to waterfronts and introduce a more effective ferry service. The presentation by Brendan Pillar of theDepartment of City Planning to Community Board 14 was one of the first steps toward updating the city’s 1992 comprehensive waterfront plan.
