In September, Dove teamed up with Rashida Jones (daughter of Quincy Jones) for the launch of its “Make Friends With Your Hair” campaign. The campaign is promoting Dove’s Nourishing Oil Care Collection by focusing on women with dry, rough and frizzy hair. They encouraged “real women” from all over America to send in creative videos describing the struggles they face with their dry, unmanageable hair and have selected three finalists—one of which is a woman of color. Public votes are being accepted until November 28th and the winner will be featured in a Dove Hair TV advertisement.
