Sometimes, you try your hardest to be early for an appointment or a date…and maybe your hair just isn’t sitting the way it needs to, or your makeup is all wrong, or you’re just overwhelmed with a large to-do list…

As much as you struggle to slap your shoes on, hail a cab or jump on a train, the clock tick, tick and ticks away.

Are you guilty of this phenomenon on a consistent basis? They say being five minutes early is being on time, and being on time is being late. Do you agree with that line of thinking? Isn’t it just a tad immature to show up for professional appointments a half hour or an hour late, all the time? Don’t others who are successful attribute some of their success to showing up to events on time?
