Move Over Jersey Shore, Braxtons Now Rule Thursdays

November 15, 2011  |

Braxton Family Values, which tracks the lives of Toni Braxton and her four sisters from Atlanta and Los Angeles, was ranked as the #1 telecast for women between the ages of 18-34 for ad-supported cable. And it goes without saying that it ranked #1 among African-American viewers.

According to the press release, “Braxton Family Values outperformed season one’s average in all key demos by double-digit increases.” The show’s success is partially tied to its bold integration with Twitter. The Braxtons actively tweet during each show’s telecast and viewers can watch their live tweets scrolling during the duration of each episode.

It was ranked #1 on Trendrr among all cable shows and #5 among all TV shows.
