Not all breakups are nightmares–at least after sufficient time has passed. Most casualties of breakups tend to think of breakups as the worst events of their lives. Yet, after you learn from your breakup history, don’t you feel just a tad wiser than you did before?
When you look back at the painful moments of a severe breakup, you often realize how much stronger you’ve become now that you’ve endured the growing pain, and you start to embrace the benefits you’ve gained. If not a new lover, you’ve often gained perspective.
You’re often better equipped to spot B.S., or a closed heart, or a partner with severe emotional complications, after a bad breakup.
In short, you’re often less easy to break after a breakup.
