About a month ago, BuzzFeed shared the story of Jerhonda Pace, the 24-year-old young woman who shared very explicit and uncomfortable details about sexual relationship she shared with R. Kelly. How she met him, how she was recruited into his “harem” of women and how she ultimately decided it was time for her to leave his mansion.
Apparently, the article was not the last time Pace was going to share her story. During a recent sit down with the women of “The Real,” she shared more details about the woman who “trained” her, the physical abuse she endured and how she finally managed to escape.
Check out the highlights from the upcoming episode in the video below.
The trainer is another—it’s a woman. And she trains you to please him sexually. She told me how to please him and she also taught me what I like.
How were you introduced to the trainer?
I got invited to his tour bus. So I went out there to his tour bus and you have him naked and you have her naked. And I’m looking like ‘Ok, what is this?’ Because Rob is the one who took my virginity. So I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ And he’s like, ‘Don’t worry about it.’ Because I guess he saw that I was looking uneasy. And I wanted to know what am I doing. And that’s when he told me to look at her and he said, ‘She’s going to teach you everything you need to know. She’s going to please you.’ And he told me to remove my clothes. And that’s when me and her engaged in sexual activity. And she was doing everything and I didn’t know.
How were you feeling when all that was happening?
I was scared. I was like really nervous. And he was like ‘Just take your clothes off and she’ll teach you everything.’ And I just went along with whatever he was asking me. And I was very scared and he picked that up.
The Physical abuse
It’s very frightening. He would slap you in your face and he would physically harm you. He would put you in a room and he would lock you in a room for days.
On finally leaving the house
He was preparing for a party at the time and— my uncle lived a few doors down— and I told him that I wanted to go to my uncle’s house to grab some shoes. And he was like ‘Ok well, when you get there, you get the shoes and you come right back.’ And at that moment, when I knew I got out the house I was like, ‘I’m not going back.’ I refused. I wasn’t going back. I lied and I got out. I left everything behind. The only thing I had in my hand was a cell phone that’s because, of course, you have to communicate with him to get back in. So I left everything and I just never looked back.
You can catch Jerhonda’s appearance on “The Real,” today September 18.
