It’s another Buy Black Friday. And this week we’re highlighting Moe’s Closet, a store that collects and sells vintage clothing. According to their website:
Mae’s Closet was created as a means to share my passion for thrifting and most importantly, pay homage to my late grandmother, Willie Mae Randolph. I was fortunate enough to witness the evolution of a colorful fashionista to a mild-mannered homemaker that never lost her taste in fine apparel. I miss her dearly but am forever grateful for her spark of inspiration to create Mae’s Closet.
As for me, I’ve never considered myself a “trendsetter” or all that heavy into fashion. I just knew how to thrift and was extremely good at it. With much patience, pairing newly thrifted items with already-owned items, and a closet revamp, my passion for thrifting has evolved into its own venture.
While some items are Mae’s originals, most items are uniquely sought out for Mae’s Closet consumers that are not only of quality and individualism, but are the epitome of the style that Willie Mae possessed and what Mae’s personifies.
