There’s A Deluxe Version Of SZA’s ‘Ctrl’ On The Way

September 2, 2017  |

If you can’t get enough of SZA’s debut album Ctrl, be prepared to be even more obsessed.

After venturing on her first headlining tour and collaborating with Maroon 5, (“What Lovers Do”)  the first lady and sole songstress of Top Dawg Entertainment has announced that she will be releasing a deluxe version of Ctrl.

When a fan tweeted a video of SZA practicing choreography to an unreleased song, she went on to imply that it may appear on the repackaged version of the album. “Man this video is literally shot n edited,” she tweeted. “regret not putting it on the album . Das wat da delux is foe.”

While we’re super excited to see what heat she brings for the second dose of Ctrl, this news actually comes as no surprise as she shared with told The Guardian how the album was finalized last month. “They cut me off,” she said. “They just took my hard drive from me. That was all. I just kept fucking everything up. I just kept moving shit around. I was choosing from 150, 200 songs, so I’m just like, who knows what’s good any more?”
