For those SZA stans that are still waiting with baited breathe for her debut album, CTRL, you’ll be happy to hear this news.

After the highly-anticipated release from the first lady of Top Dawg Entertainment was slated to drop on February 3 and never actually did, folks want answers. Well, on Saturday (April 1), TDE label president, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith gave an update on the albums that they plan to drop this year.

And of course, high on the list of priorities was SZA’s album, as someone asked him via Twitter if her project would be dropping after label mate Kendrick Lamar’s. Top Dawg replied with a simple “yes,” adding, “her album is amazing…”

Well, Kendrick’s album is set to release on April 7, so we’ve got our fingers crossed that SZA’s will follow sooner after. We’re also hoping it’s not a cruel April Fools Day joke.
