On this day, 30 years ago, Michael B. Jordan breathed his first air in this world. We wouldn’t come to “know” him until his teenage years when he played Wallace in “The Wire” or Reggie Montgomery in “All My Children” for the soap opera heads. That was back in the day when he was a little kid. But today, Jordan turned 30 years old. And we appreciate not only his growth and progression as an actor, (Y’all saw Fruitvale, right?) but also the physical transformation he’s made as well. He’s a man now, baby.
Check out a couple of our favorite MBJ shots on the following pages.

Let’s just start it off with this one right here, since everyone had so much to say about it. Personally, I’m here for more Black men being open to showing their love for one another demonstratively. And hopefully, the day will come when the community won’t be so judgmental of it.
Such innocence in these eyes.
Black boy joy is beautiful ain’t it?!
This is for the trill in you.
A man that can hang a suit is an asset.
Not afraid to get in touch with his softer side, I see. Plus, once he masters lighting, he’ll have both of y’all looking right in the pictures for the gram. Winning.
An appreciation for simplicity.
Who doesn’t love a man who carries the motherland on his back?
Happy Birthday to Michael B. Jordan! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world and for that Instagram page!
