Yara Shahidi, Selah Marley, SZA And More Are The New Faces Of Ivy Park

February 1, 2017  |

Beyoncé has selected a few notable young women of talent to take over the reigns of modeling her Ivy Park activewear clothing line. Considering that Queen Bey is now expecting twins, it makes sense that she would pass the baton since she won’t be able to model the spring/summer line on her own.

The women chosen to represent the line’s second campaign include actress and activist Yara Shahidi, singer SZA, Lauryn Hill’s daughter and model Selah Marley, Beyoncé’s proteges Chloe x Halle and model Sophie Koella. The women discuss the possibilities and power of the body in the newest ad:

When asked what she appreciated most about the new opportunity, Marley told Vogue that as a lover of sports, including gymnastics, basketball and soccer, she appreciated the idea that Ivy Park “highlights that women are capable of anything and we can dominate anywhere we go.”

Shahidi, a black belt in karate, agreed that Ivy Park and Beyoncé are all about celebrating what women’s bodies can do. “Being physically fit not only helps you achieve a healthy lifestyle but for me, it connects spirit and body, it makes me more present,” she said. “I love what Ivy Park stands for and how Beyoncé is using this line to highlight the beauty and power of our bodies and spirits.”

The images that were taken of each woman for the campaign, including Beyoncé, are quite beautiful. Check out a few of the shots below and be sure to pick up the spring/summer line at Ivy Park’s main retailer, Topshop.
