We’ve all been there before, dozing in and out of consciousness at work. Yes, whether it was a wild girl’s night or you suffered through a restless sleep, there’s no denying that taking a quick snooze at work has crossed our mind at least once if not multiple times.
Well, Greek designer Athanasia Leivaditou of the NL Studio created the 1.6 S.M. of Life Desk, which is way better than trying to tactfully lean back in a swivel chair without busting your ass.
A multipurpose piece of furniture, which was created from her frustration of studying and working in a cramped New York City apartment, The Life Desk can be quickly transformed into a bed by simply sliding the top backwards and folding the back (which acts as the mattress) down.
There’s even a TV for those that would like to tune into their favorite show before catching some Z’s.
Made of lacquered wood, metal, and white leather, the style is modern, stylish and sophisticated so it can work in element. While the prototype isn’t available just yet for retail, we’ve got our fingers crossed and are anxiously waiting.
