“I Always Wanted 5 Kids” Nick Cannon Says Child With Brittany Bell Was Not An “Oops Baby”

I know I’m not the only one fascinated by the news that Nick Cannon is expecting another child. I don’t know why, but for some reason, I assumed that twins were enough. But it turns out that was not and is not the case. And in an interview with Power 106 FM, Cannon shared the plan for his family. Because, there was a plan.

While Cannon says that he and Brittany Bell are no longer together, the child she’s carrying was not conceived by accident.

“Never an ‘oops baby. I’m so calculated with my moves … I’ve always wanted five kids … Just because my marriage was over didn’t mean I couldn’t continue to grow a family. I wanted to make sure it was someone who was solid, spiritual and had the same views. She’s a friend. She’s been in my life. Our families grew up in the same projects together in San Diego. So there’s a lot of substance to it.”

He added, “Mariah, Moroccan and Monroe will always be my family, but we always ca have other aspects of our family.”

And speaking of the first branch of his family, we reported earlier that Mariah told Mario Lopez that she was completely cool with Nick having other children. But during the interview, he shared exactly how the two broached the subject.

“She came at me first about it, so it was actually easier. I wasn’t even talking about it. I don’t know how she heard about it, but she called me, and she was funny with it. She was like, ‘Mhmmm, I heard about you out here in these streets.’”
