Blend Your Makeup Like A Pro With These Brushes
Blending is a very important word in the world of beauty. Without it, makeup applications would be less than favorable, and we all know it. Whether we’ve skimped on dabbing in our concealer or found that a friend may have needed to spend five more minutes in the bathroom, it’s nothing that hasn’t happened before. Actually it’s quite common.
Recently, Hype Hair spoke to master makeup artist Sam Fine about makeup application. And according to Fine, it’s all about the brushes, baby! Aside from healthy skin, brushes help your makeup go on smoother and look flawless.
For eyes, he recommends short haired brushes for color placement and blending like Sigma’s E-20 – Short Shader. Foundation is always tricky to apply, but he recommends Sedona Lace’s Synthetic Large Paddle – 919, which is shaped like a foundation brush but boasts of the bristles of a powder brush, making it perfect for a flawless liquid or powder application.
eWhen it comes to the popular trend of highlighting and contouring, a short and flat contour brush will do the job as it will glide with precision, hitting the hollows of the face for the perfect chiseled look. Fine also recommends another Sedona brand brush for this look, the Synthetic Short Flat Contour Brush – 781.
