After scouting models for one of their past campaigns via social media, Marc Jacobs is back and using the internet to their advantage to support their next venture.
Using the #Castmemarc hashtag, the designer is using in an effort to find the perfect beauty vlogger to rep the brand’s beauty division. To be considered for the gig, all one has to do is to post a video on Instagram explaining what inspires you in both beauty and fashion, in addition to why Jacobs should pick you for the job.
Entries will be accepted from now until December 5. There will be 10 finalists getting flown to New York City in January for the second round of casting, which will include the chance to record a makeup application video for Jacobs and the rest of the judging panel. After, the finalists will be narrowed down to a lucky three beauty and social media-obsessed individuals who will go on to star in a#beautymarc video series.
