My spidey senses telling me November 11 would be the day Adrienne and Israel would say “I do” have been confirmed. The pair are officially “Happily Ever Houghton” after becoming husband and wife in Paris.
Israel confirmed the union in a bit of a cryptic message on Instagram this morning, noting today as “The Day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! Very very glad.”
But its other wedding guests, like Adrienne’s The Real Co-hosts who truly gave a glimpse into the pair’s big day on social media, like this photo Loni posted.
Jeannie Mai’s mom even shared a group shot along with a special message about how happy she was to be in Paris for the first time celebrating the Houghton’s love.
There were also touching moments, like Israel trying to get his groove on with his new bride on the dance floor, and Adrienne singing in Spanish.
Adrienne and Israel got engaged in August in Paris when the gospel singer proposed in front of The Real co-host’s family who surprised her during their trip to France. The couple had only been dating for four months at the time, after Adrienne failed at setting up her new husband with her friends and realized he was actually the one for her. She told Hollywood Live after their engagement how she knew Israel was the one:
“We were friends for three years before. And I think that makes a big difference. And being older, you kind of know what you want. I think when you’re younger you have to date around, kind of see what you like, what you don’t. There’s different things, honestly, from different people that I’ve dated that I’m like ‘I love this quality…don’t love this quality so much.’ So I’m going to be 33 this year. I know exactly what I wanted and he is everything I wanted and more…he is my best friend.”
Just five days ago, she further confirmed their deep connection on Instagram, writing:
“At some point you will realize that there is only one person whose name alone can make your day better. only one person you look for when you enter a room. one person that makes you the best you. and when you realize that, your life will never ever be the same.”
Congrats to the newlyweds!
