“There’s Constant Half Truths And Full Lies” Adrienne Bailon Knows What The Media Is Saying About Israel Houghton
If you think Adrienne Bailon doesn’t see what you’re saying about her man Israel Houghton on the internet, you’d be mistaken. She’s seen the reports from the blogs. And in a recent interview with Angie Martinez, her friend, she explained that not only is a lot of it not true; but what is true, she knows and has known for some time. See what she had to say in the excerpt below.
“I hate that blogs don’t have journalistic integrity and I think it’s really sad that our audience, right now, does not know that. They’re impressionable in the sense of like, ‘Well, this blog said it. This Instagram page said it so we know it’s fact. It was on there.’ That’s actually not true. There’s constant half truths and full lies that go into it. And you just say ‘Man, when is going to come the day when you have to, like legally, I wish there was a way where you have to tell the facts and the truth.’
You have to have thick skin. You have to know who you’re marrying, in my case. I have to know who he is. I love him. He’s phenomenal. He’s a great person with a huge heart. Nobody’s perfect. I think everybody deserves a chance at getting it right, including myself. And I think you just want to be happy. And I think being friends for a really long time makes a huge difference in a relationship. You can hear everything from their past and when you’re not their girlfriend, it doesn’t affect you the same way. I’ve known everything about him and he’s known everything about me. But we knew it as friends. So we just took it and was like ‘Dang it. I still like you. I like who you are. I like your heart. You’re a good person.’ So that’s my best friend and I can’t wait to marry him. Everyone’s happy. But they’ve loved him for years. He’s been like a family friend so my mom is thrilled.”
You can listen to Adrienne’s full interview in the video below. In addition to speaking about Israel, she also spoke about Tamar’s exit from “The Real.”
