There were already a trillion and one reasons to follow Erykah Badu, aka Fat Belly Bella, on social media and the artist just gave us a trillion and two.
Yesterday, Ms. Badu, who calls herself “The Unicorn” on Instagram, uploaded a video of her dancing in a bra and panties with a “zero f-cks given” facial expression that could only be matched by her caption for the video which read:

Sounds like Erykah is proud to have earned her love pounds — you know the weight women sometimes gain when they get in a relationship and start spending more time being wined and dined than spinning and lifting, or just laying up with the boo all day and night. In March we found out the singer had a new man in her life, visual artist Carl Jones, who posted a photo of them together declaring Erykah as his love, best friend, creative partner, and n-gga.
She in turn called Carl her shrink, cook, barber, and belly dancer…
Now Fat Belly Bella’s fluffy cuff season declaration makes even more sense and we love the message she’s sending in this video and the pride she’s always shown with her body in every form. So what she has a little more jiggle around the middle, she’s happy in love and happy with her frame. What more could you ask for?
