As much as we all love to travel, we must take our safety seriously when doing so. The U.S. Department of State routinely releases reports on what countries Americans should be weary of visiting despite their photographic backdrops, amazing food and people.

Whereas in countries like North Korea, Americans can risk arrest for violations that are not seen as criminal in the United States.
