Amber Rose Dishes On How Much Weight She’s Already Lost Since Starting Dancing With The Stars
Take it from Teyana Taylor, folks. If you really want to get in some good, good shape, bust a move. Make that a serious move. Amber Rose is currently figuring that out as a contestant on Season 23 of Dancing With the Stars. It’s only been about two weeks, and not only has the 32-year-old had the chance to dress up as Khaleesi from Game of Thrones, but she’s also dropped about 10 pounds already. The beauty spoke on it during her podcast, Loveline With Amber Rose, alongside co-host Dr. Chris Donaghue (a show about sex, self-empowerment, etc.). Donaghue said that when “I walked in I was like, who is this person in front of me?” Rose noted that she’s also started seeing changes in her curvaceous body.
“I feel like I’m getting super toned,” she said. “I feel like I lost probably like 10 pounds, maybe eight pounds already. It’s serious.”
Blame it on all the hours spent dancing with her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. However, Rose wouldn’t say that she’s a great dancer (and based on the fact that she was “in jeopardy this week” on the show, a.k.a., in the bottom four, I guess people would agree). But she is trying, and wants to stay on the show as long as possible because she absolutely loves it.
“I’m having the time of my life, Chris,” Rose said. “I love my partner and just — people don’t understand how much work goes into it. You’re with your partner four to five hours a day. You get home, you’re on the phone with them – what you need to work on, what you need to do. Then you go to the ballroom and it’s like all the celebrities and other dancers. It’s really like a family.”
