Rejoice! MAC Is Releasing 24 New Lipstick Shades
A gal can never have too many lipsticks and apparently more and more beauty brands are realizing this. Honestly, how many pinkish-nude lipsticks and maroon-toned reds are in your current collection? Exactly.
After Urban Decay Vice brought 100 new shades to the beauty-obsessed, MAC is joining in on extending the olive brand to ladies across the globe. While their latest venture doesn’t hit the hundreds like Urban Decay, they have introduced a new line called Liptensity Lipstick, which features 24 brand new colors.
Dubbed as “High-Frequency Tetrachromatic Pigments,” MAC teamed up with Maureen Seaberg, a writer on sensory experience and a tetrachromat, meaning she has the genetic ability to see up to 100 million shades that the rest of us can’t. Therefore, all the colors are unlike anything you’ve ever seen. From a deep bluish-gray to plum pink to deep brown, the collection runs the gamut of shades.
There has yet to be any details on pricing released, but the collection will be available on Sept. 20 and 21, online and in-store respectively.
