For some reason, the media has nicknamed Malachi Love Robinson, Dr. Love. And while that is his middle name, Dr. Low Down suits him a bit better. Plus, I think we can all admit that Dr. Love for an OBGYN, real or fake, is just inappropriate.
Anyway, perhaps you’ve heard of Love-Robinson. He was the young man who was pretending to be a doctor, an OBGYN to be specific. He was arrested in February after police determined that the 19-year-old was practicing medicine without a license and had stolen more than $35,000 from one patient.
You would think after being caught once, he would have learned his lesson. But that’s not how Love-Robinson gets down.
The teenager is now facing new charges of grand theft and fraud. According to ABC News, Love-Robinson, who has been out on bond for his first offenses, was arrested again. He was accused of writing a check for $1,500 as a down payment for a car. Details about the grand theft weren’t available. But I’m sure you can imagine.
Love-Robinson maintained that he didn’t perform an medical procedures or offer treatment. So he did nothing wrong, legally. A month after he was released on bond, he was arrested again on larceny and using a fake I.D.
The sad thing is, Love-Robinson is obviously intelligent. If only he would use his powers for good and not evil.
