August 30, 2016  |

In a People ‘Mom Talk’ video, Amber Rose shares a few tricks of the trade when it comes to parenting her now 3 year-old-son Sebastien. The miniseries focuses on bridging the proverbial gap between everyday parents, and celebrity parents through a series of on camera questions. Amber shares some of her fears, cutest moments, and highlights some of the things she loves about being a mommy.

What is your greatest fear for your child?

“As a mom you have a million different fears…I guess just for him to be depressed, and unhappy in his life. I want him to do literally any and everything that makes him smile and be happy forever”.

Tell us about the time your child made you laugh the hardest.

“Recently he just started chewing gum. So I gave him a piece of strawberry gum, and he was so dramatic when I gave it to him, ‘cause he said, “mmmm Mommy, this gum feels so therapeutic”, and I just laughed on the floor, until I cried.”

When you see a pregnant woman, what is one thing you wish you could tell her?

“Read to your baby every single day. Even when your baby is a newborn. I read to sebastien every single day, when he was in my arms, and now he can articulate a sentence like no other”.

The endearing and relatable video brings to mind some of the pillars most parents stand on. Whether you’re a first time parent, or you’ve been around the block a few times, several things ring true when raising your mini. From the instinctual nature of tuning into your newborn and then finally getting the hang of things, to the astounding evolution of your child’s personality, and all the fears that come to mind when you think of your child venturing out into the global world, one thing is universal: love. The deepest, and most sincere love one could ever have towards another human being is that of a parent, and child. Amber Rose gushes with love, and pride over her baby boy.
