Many of you may have seen the trailer for the new Harry Potter sequel, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. If you haven’t, you can watch below.

The premise of the film, which stars Eddie Redmayne, is set in New York, 70 years before the events of the Harry Potter books and film series. In the new prequel, Newt Scamander, a Magizoologist, ventures into a secret community of witches and wizards, attempting to document magical creatures. The book he writes is eventually used at Hogwarts when Harry is in school.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zoe Kravitz will be joining that world. Sources claim that Kravitz was added to the cast after production began. She is said to have a small role in this film but there is a possibility that she may play a more significant role in the sequel.

Fantastic Beasts is set to be released this year, November 18. And the sequel is already set to be released in November 16, 2018.

J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series wrote the screenplay for the project. And David Yates who directed the last four Potter films also took on Fantastic Beasts and the 2018 sequel.

We’re glad a Black girl is going to be involved. Can’t wait to see what she does with the part in this film and the next.
