Yoncé Makes An Appearance During Brazilian Gymnast Rebeca Andrade’s Routine

August 9, 2016  |

Although we’re supposed to be rooting for Team USA, Brazilian gymnast Rebeca Andrade has caught our attention too!

The 17-year-old junior has always been the Brazilian gymnastic team’s secret weapon but according to Elle Magazine, she hasn’t been publicly recognized because of the injuries she faced in 2014 and 2015. But this year Rebeca came to steal the show in Rio by using gymnastic techniques like the Amanar — a favorite of Simone Biles and, of course, Queen Bey.

During her floor routine, Rebeca floored judges by performing to a samba mix of Bey’s iconic songs “Crazy In Love” and “Single Ladies.” She even included a bit of choreography from the songs’ videos in her routine, wowing her home crowd of Brazil. And although Mrs. Carter wasn’t there, Rebeca gave everyone a show set to the Yoncé’s standard and it even landed her in the finals!

Check out the routine below.
