Marsha Ambrosius Announces Her Pregnancy!
Marsha Ambrosius’ life is full of good things these days. Not only has she reunited with former group member the floacist, Natalie Stewart, the singer, songwriter and producer recently announced that she is expecting a child.
The moment happened while she was on stage at this year’s Essence Festival. Ambrosius was there as a part of the highly anticipated Prince Tribute. She came out singing “Take Me With You” before transitioning into the classic “Do Me Baby.” She kept rubbing her stomach, particularly as she sang the words baby. And finally, she turned to the side and rubbed her stomach, exposing a pretty significant sized baby bump before waving to her man behind her.
One of our writers, Danielle Young, caught the moment on camera.
If you’ve been following Marsha Ambrosius’ career, particularly her recent work then it might come as no surprise that the father of her child is fellow musician Dez.
You may have seen him in her video “Have You Ever,” where he, naturally, starred as her love interest.
From both of their social media profiles, it would seem that the couple started dating just a little over a year ago.
After she stepped off stage, she spoke about the performance, the baby reacting to the music, and revealed that she’s having a little girl!
Congratulations to Marsha and Dez! This baby is going to be adorable!
