If your kids are anything like mine, you dare not leave your home without snacks. My kids need both flavor and options if I plan on keeping them happy on the road. That’s why I am always on the hunt for snacks that are tasty, healthy, and easy to travel with.

Now that it’s officially summer, a few beach trips are definitely on our agenda. A day at the beach is a ton of fun for kids, but it’s also hot and they have so much fun they can get pretty hungry. Surely we can’t just give the poor kids only water all day, right? (although I am a huge fan of giving kids plenty of water and not much juice).

Here are a few snack ideas for the beach that will keep you and your kids happy this summer. Wishing you a summer filled with sunshine and tasty snacks.

Slammers SuperFood Snack. Created to be delicious, easily digestible & instant fuel for active kids, with flavors like Watermelon Kiwi Burst and Pomegranate Grape Crush and 7 grams of protein per pouch, these are perfect for energetic beach goers.

Frozen Grapes. Grapes are a great healthy snack, and they go a log way when they are frozen. It’s a super simple way to help cool your kids down while they enjoy fresh fruit on the beach.

Trailmix. This is great snack because it doesn’t take up much space, you can easily separate it into portions, it’s easy to customize, and you can pack it with enough protein to keep everyone full for a while. You just can’t go wrong with trail mix.

GoGo Squeez. I love all their applesauce products, but I’m a huge fan of the fruit and veggiez pouch. Pop it in the freezer, add it to your cooler, and it makes the perfect beach snack. They also have an organic option which is awesome.

Raw Veggies. Cut up some favorites (carrots and celery is great) and keep them in the cooler with all your other snacks. They are crunchy, filled with fiber, and pretty refreshing. You can even pack tiny containers of ranch dressing or hummus for an extra tasty snack.

Chobani Greek Yogurt Snacks for Kids. I especially love their yogurts tubes. With only 6 grams of sugar per serving, they can make a pretty awesome beach treat if you freeze them and pack them tightly in a cooler.

String Cheese. Cheese on a hot beach may seem odd, but string cheese is individually wrapped, easy to eat, and packs a bit of protein. Perfect for a hungry kid in need of some fuel.

Honest Kids. I am all about a tall ice-cold bottle of water, but sometimes a little more flavor is nice. Honest Kids beverages are great for quenching your kid’s thirst with great flavor and not too much sugar.

Homemade Wraps. I think sandwiches can get messy, but wraps are perfect. Make a wrap with hummus, turkey and cheese (or whatever your little ones love). Cut them into 2-inch pieces and keep them in your cooler. It’s a great non-messy way to enjoy lunch while hanging in the sun.

Kind Snacks. Available in tons of options, Kind snacks and granola bars are filling, healthy, and very tasty. Honestly, these bars are perfect for the entire family and can keep you full for hours.
