They’re More Laid Back

A woman named Wendy Williams (no relation to the TV personality) told Parenting that she was 44 and her husband was 41 when they had their daughter Kate. According to her, being a mature parent makes you more laid back when it comes to the way you look at parenting: “I believe that as ‘old’ parents, we have brought her into our life, rather than make her the focus of ours.”
