Use your 15-minute break to actually take a break.  Go to a quiet spot that you know you won’t get any interruptions at–like your car–and practice deep breathing exercises.  Sit up straight in your seat to keep your mind and body alert, put on some soothing, wordless music and breathe deeply through your diaphragm, not your chest.  Focus on clearing your mind of everything and put your attention on the soothing music.  Release any tension you might be carrying throughout your body.  Try throwing in some aroma-therapeutic flavor with Calm Space and their roll-on aromatherapy scents that come in a yummy vanilla and lavender.  The smell-goods (don’t put them on your body though, inhale the calming scents) are discrete and go as easily in your purse as lip gloss, so you can use it as much as needed, and use extra when your work frenemies come around.
