Even though you know the food you eat doesn’t pop up as a little jiggle in your thighs or a little bulge in your tummy right away, for some reason, when you’re in a bikini it feels that way. And that’s rather unfortunate since the foods we pack for the beach aren’t exactly, well, beach body foods. Open up any given cooler on the beach and you’ll probably find a lot of alcohol (hidden, if it’s a no-booze beach), tons of string cheese, several types of chips, and every grownup version of a luncheable that you can imagine. But you didn’t work on your beach body all summer just to ruin it literally on the beach. That being said, you also want to fully enjoy yourself at the beach, and that doesn’t include watercress. So here is how to pack a healthy beach cooler.
