Last summer, reality star Evelyn Lozada shared that she was devastated to learn that she suffered a miscarriage. Unfortunately, history would repeat itself just months later.
In an interview with Life & Style, the 40-year-old bride-to-be shared that she miscarried a second child on Thanksgiving Day.
“I miscarried on Thanksgiving Day,” the “Livin’ Lozada” star told the publication. “I was like, ‘This cannot be happening to my life again.’”
Sadly, Evelyn was enjoying the holiday with her fiancé, Carl Crawford, their two-year-old son, Leo, and her future in-laws when the tragedy occurred.
“I was literally miscarrying my baby,” she shared before revealing that she opted to keep quiet about what was taking place because she “didn’t want to dampen the mood.”
During the first season of Lozada’s OWN reality show, fans witnessed her suffer the first miscarriage, which was caused by low levels of hormones. Despite her unfortunate luck with her previous two pregnancies, the mother of two shared that she does plan on trying again for a third child.
“I love being a mom,” she said. “After two miscarriages, it makes me want to be a mom even more.”
