Quirky Black Musical Acts at ONE MusicFest in Atlanta

- By

There are a ton of summer concert festivals to attend every year, but the ONE MusicFest stands apart with it’s diverse musical acts and it’s philanthropic slant. Held in Atlanta on August 27 in Atlanta, ONE MusicFest attracted over 4,000 attendees to enjoy the the artistry of Anthony David, the Pharcyde, Foreign Exchange, the Cool Kids, the host Chrisette Michele and more.   The Atlanta Music Project was on hand to collect used musical instruments for children in need. Now that’s a party with a purpose!

“There is a lack of representation for soul, progressive hip-hop, alternative and rock, represented under one roof, in the format of music festivals in Atlanta.  ONE Musicfest was created with the idea of music as the universal language. Over time, we aim to grow this fest into a phenomenon and bring together different sectors of individuals through a unique music platform,” states J. Carter, Sol-Fusion Founder and ONE Musicfest Producer.
